  16. not the low-end ones, because it costs them an extra relay. Once 
  17. the manufacturers build it in, I am sure they would not forget to say so 
  18. on the box.

  20. Do not forget, you need to have a software capable of interpretting the 
  21. CID information and enabling it (it is disabled by default). CID is 
  22. enabled on the modem by AT#CID=1 or AT#CID=2. The first format is in a 
  23. tag format while the second is unformatted in HEX. The software must be 
  24. capable of interpretting either format.

  26. alternatively, you can use terminal emulation and have it displayed on 
  27. the screen in ASCII just like BBS prompts.
